Tubular Finishing
Carolina Cotton Works utilizes the Tubetex Delta Plus compactors for optimal width, weight, and shrinkage control on Jersey, fleece, rib, pique and interlock. Our 2007 upgrades include two new Delta Plus compactors, replacing older technology. We have found that the compactors and our two five-zone Santex dryers are the leading technology available today for consistency of punch weight and shrinkage control. For lightweight and synthetic fabrics being finished tubular, we utilize Santex shrinking calendars. These machines have excellent width control, and features that minimize any risk of mechanical defects in synthetic fabrics.
